I'm thinking about setting up a more hardcore strict like Minecraft server. The ones we previously had because boring quickly and easily because they were simply that: easy.

 

So i'm thinking of setting up one that has restricted lockette usesage, and limited faction land claimning and even more.

Also i plan on setting up a way for the server to pay for itself. Such as people can buy permanent loadouts, that they'll ahve each time they spawn after death, such as diamond sword, pickaxe, etc.

 

I need some ideas. DeathChest will probably be off, as well putting lock signs on everything. Claiming might be possible, but at a price, which i'm not too sure of what. We'll ahve protected land by spawn that people can donate and buy, or something.

 

Any ideas or suggestions?

 

Also any glitching, or hacking will be punnished quickly and severely.

 

 

well i think that the limited chest idea is a bit dodgy since i tend to have about 30 chest even if it is just to sort things out.

however you are saying you want it more hardcore, but what do you mean with this, do you want just completely vannilla minecraft, or do you want to mod it as to make it harder, in case of the latter i know some mods you might be usefull, with things like making mobs harder to fight or giving less daytime.

I'm not too sure what we're going to do, But I know the things such as McMMO Party Teleporting will be gone, along with DeathChests, XP Bank, and Lockette signs.

 

Will still have factions i think, since that gives members a way to protect their stuff while they're offline.

 

We already got the server up, along with a teamspeak server that anyone is free to use.

oow if youre gonna keep factions how about the edited version where it only protects when all players are offline so that shit like raiding isnt completely removed

not sure if thats possible. we could just remove factions

 

If you guys start playing now it could be buggy. Testing alot of of new plugins for homes and spawn setting. The ones we've been using are very old and out dated.

Alright just got a new home/spawn plugin. It should let you set one home using /homeset. If it doesnt then i have to go through the permission files again. We're using bpermissions right now, which is much more complicated than the permissionsex i've used for years.

 

Also you can see how long you've been online by using /otl stats NAME

 

Another thing, i removed the chat spammer, now you can use /rules to see a list of the rules.
