Major networks turn down Jackson reality show

Featured Replies

TV networks are refusing to air Michael Jackson's personal footage of his child sex abuse trial.

The King Of Pop - who was acquitted on all counts in the high-profile case - was filmed throughout the trial and reportedly wants the tapes show on TV.

The proposed reality show is said to show how the singer and his family coped with the lurid allegations, and aims to rehabilitate the star's image.

But so far, the major TV networks are passing up the offer.

The Fox network said: "We were contacted and we're passing." The ABC network said: "We were pitched and we passed." CBS and A&E also reportedly turned down the offer.

Isn't it interesting that Networks will trample each other to get the story of Michael Jackson being accused, and yet whenhe, and his Family try to get their story told all the Networks turn tale, and go the other way. :p

for oen this entire reality thing is just a stupid rumor and i wouldnt be suprised if the networks never said anything about it since it never happen in the first place.

I concur with you!

Jermaine said the media reports are the first that he has heard of it. LMAO so i wish we'd quit reporting this on the site as fact.

Well, IF it is indeed, true, than I bet HBO would prabably air it. Only not everybody HAS HBO (I do), but if it is indeed NOT true, than this is just all really stupid.

Katherine Jackson said in her interview that she would never do a reality show and she doubts anybody in the family would want to do such a thing. The networks turned down the offer because it was being pitched to them by people claiming to be close to the family but the networks could not confirm who they actually were (per Access Hollywood).

I doubt Michael would ever do another thing like that whether or not he made it, he has been let down in the past, its probably all just stupid rumours!

source Fox News!

:-? theres a problem right there!

i dont think it would be a good idea at this stage. i think leave it for a while. and just show some of the home movies from the trial. dont say anything, no new footage just what theyve recorded, and get a decent network that you know wont back stab you! - (yeah right as if that would ever happen)
