What has been everyone's best vacation they've ever had? I think the best one I've ever had would be my trip to South Carolina. Me and my family went there right when I turned 8, so I really don't remember too much detail. I do remember some of the highlights, though. We actually got on the road really late (11pm) and ended up driving all through the night. (It took a little over 16 hours to get there.) I felt so sorry for my dad. He must have been so tired. We didn't want to stop at hotels or anything because we didn't want to waste any days my dad took off from work. I remember talking about all the fun we were going to have on our way there and playing "Heads Carolina, tails California" by JoDee Messina the whole way. I also remember going through the Smokey Mountains. We were so high up and the ride through the mountains was so fun since we were constantly spiraling. My little sister ended up getting sick. LOL. Once we got there, we checked into a condo that was right next to the beach. When we sat on our balcony there, we could see everything (The beach, boats, sunset) etc. It was so beautiful. I also remember going on a dolphin cruise while we were there and we went parasailing. I went 1,200 feet in the air~! It was so neat. I didn't see any sharks while I was up there, but I did see a huge stingray or whatever you call those flat, red, circle shaped things ) I also remember my mom buying each of us a sugar cookie somewhere. I brought the cookie to a bench and these black birds with big red eyes hopped right up to my feet. I was shocked. I never experienced anything like that before. I wasn't used to wild animals being so comfortable around humans. I knew what it must have wanted, so I walked away somewhere else. It followed me, of course, and a whole army of them arrived not too long after. I ended up giving it to them since they wouldn't leave me alone. I was worried that they'd attack me if I started to eat it again. I remember the cookie not being very good, anyway. Stupid begger birds! LOL Well... that's about all I can remember right now... I have another vacation I want to talk about but I don't think I am going to be able to right now. My fingers are hurting like crazy~! LOL Please share your vacation stories, too. I'd love to hear them~!

You've never been on a vacation before Temp? If not, you should try going on one. It's really relaxing to get away from everything at home.

only been on one when i was 19 and spent the whole week in hospital really sick

Mine was 2 yrs ago when i went away with my fam and best mate, we met a group of people of there that were our age, got on with all the waiters, spent everyday chilling by the pool drinking cocktails, and getting thrown in the water, and spent the evenings out clubbing (sounds kinda boring but it was my first holiday what i didn't have to spend with my family) it was soo horrible coming back, we had some great memories, for example skinny dipping at 3 in the morning and absolutely smashed, being dragged over the bar by the sexy waitors, playing pool and losing the balls in the swimming pool, oh and nearly falling off a roof trying to save a pair of shoes, lolz!

the best holiday ive ever been to was when i went to Orlando. we stayed in this beautiful appartement and then we went to all the theme parks like you do. it was so much fun. it was the first time i went on a roller coaster that went upside down. because it was inside i couldnt see it until i was actually on the ride so i couldnt get off... i was soooo scared anyway after that ride i just couldnt get enough of them so whenever i saw a rollercoaster me and my dad went off and spent ages queing up to go on one. i dont know whether it was the ride that made it fun or me being with my dad on my own for a while but it has been so much fun. another great part of that holiday was when we went to seaworld. we managed to see shamu the whale and loads of other shows but the best bit of the day was when i had a chance to feed the dolphins and touch them. it was the best feeling ever and since then i have been determined to go swimming with dolphins. it is the one thing i am definatly going to do before i leave this world!!!

ive been on vacations but been too unwell to actually notice since age 15 but i wouldn't mind gettin away after my ex's trial

yeh you should you need a break!!! after the tril you will want to celebrate too so you will have even more fun!!
