I have a question. Does anyone think MJ has BDD? that's short for body dismorphic disorder- when a person who might be attractive or average thinks that he or she has major flaws with their appearance that could never be fixed enough for them. I'm being honest because we don't discuss his flaws on the personal level. He has expressed a deep issue with his image. He has gotten work on his nose so often. He has expressed issues with puberty and seems to not be able to get over it. It's all self confidence issues when it comes to his appearance- not his talent. So that is a discussion I'd like to have with you all.

Yeah, I thought that he did change his nose more than 2 times. Does he wear a wig?

I don't know if he wears a wig or not. I'm not exactly sure about that. That's all I could say.

Let's not get on the wig issue LOL. Anyway I asked this question because I watched an episode of Oprah (eventhough I can't stand her) and I saw these three people who were so beautiful, but they believed that they needed plastic surgery or wouldn't go outside the house because they thought they were the most terrible looking things there could be. And this one woman was 28 and had 26 plastic surgeries in her life and when she saw MJ's nose she thought "I maust have that nose" eventhough she already has breathing problems and has to open her nostrils with a Q-tip. So when she mentioned MJ I thought, "Yeah if she has breathing problems because of her nose which is bigger than MJs, then MJ has to have a breathing problem as well. And Joe (his father) HAS picked on him when he was little because of his nose. And they HAVE messed with him because of his pimples during puberty. Now he has money and the ability to get something done on him if he doesn't like it. Now he's done just that."

 

In shorthand the uneccessary shrinkage of MJ's nose has always made me wonder and you can't say he's being unusual for the heck of it because other people have had to get help because they were doing the same thing he did.

Yes, I think he has BDD in a way.

I saw that program too...

 

Anyway, I understand Michael, and I think it's a big misunderstanding...

Consider this:

 

You are black person, you're in the spotlight every day, in your whole life.

You have this skin disease, so you're about to turn White.

You still have the face of a Black person, with a wide nose, afro hair, chins and such things... You can't look like a White Afro American, that would looks weird, right?

 

Then what can you do? You can get some surgery, so you could look like a white person.... That would looks more natural....

 

I'm white, and I think about, if I began to turn black, cause of a disease.

I would look quite odd, Cause I have a white mans face, and Black mans color..

This would'nt match at all!!!

Michael looks cute no matter how he looks so why cant ppl just leave him alone its up to him if he wants to have surgery or not non of his fans rule his life we just adore the guy does it matter if he has BDD or not

He did wear a wig some of the time but that was only when he does not feel good but that is he's hair. And I think Michael has some problems on something but nothing bad and who cares, I love him for who he is not what he wears or does I do a little on what he does to himself though I probably don't make sense LOL...

But think about it... His genes, the guy has black genes, and therefore he has afro hair.. Look at the old pics...

 

I don't believe a guy with afro hair, could ever get his own hair, like Michael Has.. Long and smooth... It's just impossible with afro...

 

But again, if you look at my post above....

I do NOT care about Michael and his Face, His hair, his house, his garden, his tree, his pants or anything... He makes the great music I like, He makes some great shows that I like.. If he's black or white, skin disease or not, I DON'T CARE..

 

But I feel sorry for the guy... His misunderstood, and he has a hard time..

The media DO CARE about all these small things, that doesn't matter in ANY WAY.

Therefore I feel, he needs the help from His fans around the globe, to say:

"God dammit, we don't care about all this, we buy his records, go to his shows, we care about the person" so like Michael says, "Burn the Tabloids, and leave me Alone"

 

His life is ruined and therefore I care about him anyway.. Even though I should NOT!

 

But under the circumstances, I have to take a part in this discussion, and make war to the tabloids...

hmmmm okay. I had to put out his imperfections because everywhere I go I see MJ fansites that always say how perfect he is or people act like they know him personally. I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that a hypothesis is brought to the table with out it being tested, but we want reality. If we want to get to know about MJ as fans then we can't look at half of the story. Everyone does their share of dirt (I mention that part eventhough it's not the topic but we will get to that later). I'm not a MJ hater. I've been his fan since I was born. I'm just in the mood to say let's be real about him.

 

Now my opinion is that he might have BDD. We can't rule that out just because he's Michael Jackson and the tabloids are nasty. I don't know I'm just in the mood to be honest today LOL.

But in reality.. We should'nt care about Him in any way..

If he has a disease, if he has BDD, if He's Black, If he's White... We should'nt care about it, it's His choice, His disease, His life... And we're not a part of it...

I don't care if he did wear a wig or not, but man you are so wrong just because he is black does not mean he has to always have and afro ok he did when he was younger and now he doesn't you know there are things called a perm I don't know if he ever used one but he also has Indian in him they have long straight hair and he does not always wear a wig. And when you get older things change on your body my mom had curly hair when she was younger and now she has straight hair.

 

I have never seen him wear a wig in tell the court pic and a little before that.....

The exsessive nose surgeries..some face surgery..eye surgery (tatooed eyeliner)..and his skin condition..i know he can't help that but he has tried everything he can to control his vitiligo..

Just saying he does not have tattooed eyeliner cause I have seen him without it a few times in the past few years but I think his lip do not sure but he is still beautiful...

I think that he doesn't and that he is perfectly fine

yea i'd have to say he does, in my opinion, even tho i'm no expert. someone who messes around with their face that much has issues with what they look like. it's a sickness, and these people unfortunately are never happy with what they look like.

 

it's similar to anorexia.. their perception of what they look like is totally different to how others see them.. like back in the 80's when MJ's nose was perfect and we all knew it, he thought it was still big, like his father used to say and he continued to have more surgery, and then theres the hair, the chin, the eyes, whatever, he'll never be happy.. as he's said himself many a time he's a perfectionist and is never happy with what he does. but he's the best out there and thats all that matters MJ KOP!
