Hey, does anyone know what program or how to convert WinRAR files to MPEG so I can burn them into VCD?? I tried VCD gear, but it sucks. If anyone know how to do it please reply!!!

You have to extract the winrar file first, you shitty windows users use winrar then the file will be jpeg or avi or whatever, then you can burn the movie file to VCD

How do you extract it. I can view the WinRAR files from my computer by clicking on one of the files and it will just automatically extract and let me watch it, it doesn't stay extracted.

i wish i could help ya..but i don't know much about WinRAR and VCD's....that's about the only thing i don't know about computers..

First you need to download WinRAR. You can do that here

 

Ok once it's downloaded, install it.

 

Select the .rar file, right-click and select "Extract here" and the file should appear in the same folder.

I already got WinRAR. If I didn't I wouldn't have been asking this question. But, I'm gonna mess around with it until it works

Do you know where the extracted files are saved? Do a search for the file name or go to program files in the c/ drive and look for a folder with the name winrar or extracted files or something, thats all i is knowing.

Oh you just open the file click left mouse key and Extract to the specified folder... then put where u want and that file be not in rar or zip...

ok, I extracted the files, and I know where it's at. Now I just need a program to burn it to VCD. The files are in WMV format, I think I need to convert it to MPEG format but I don't know how.

I use TMPGEnc. It's a free program that converts video files to MPG

boy..all this stuff is confusing..

Nevermind, I used Nero and it worked miracles
