Is mjjsource down again or is it just me?

no its not working 4 me either. bit weird

that looks so bad how the site keeps going down. especially since people pay for special memberships on it. i know traffic must be high for them but i wish they'd get a real webhost or something that keeps their site up

i wanna read the real mj news!!! LOL

I just got this email from Karen Faye about MJJSource. It's actually quite derogatory and hints that the reason that MJJSource is offline is because MJ isn't paying the bills!!!!!! What you lot make of it?

 

PS...She gave me Raymones email but I had to edit it coz I heard that she doesnt like to have it on messageboards.

Yes Carla, I know all about it. We have been patiently waiting Raymone Bain to make a statement about it for more than a week. MJJsource is down because we have had no cooperation with Michael and his present team. Without their complete support, we can not continue with the site. Please refer any questions to [email protected], she is Michael's official spokesperson. I understand all the anger with the fans, but we have done everything in our power to live up to all the promises Michael has made. If he does not fulfill his promises...there is nothing we can do. We were Michael's voice, but if he doesn't wish to speak or pay the bills for MJJsource, there is nothing we can do. I personally am very hurt and sad about it, because we have worked very hard to do this for the

fans. I do not want to stop talking to my friends....so you can find me here.

Michael Jackson's world is one of constant upheaval. But the latest news from Jackson is more disturbing than usual.

 

Sources tell me the disloyal, capricious ex-King of Pop has fired both of his closest confidantes.

 

More headaches: His Web site, www.mjjsource.com, which had been run by his brother Randy and former stylist Karen Faye, is gone as well, leaving subscribers and fan club members high and dry.

 

Now I'm told that Faye has been dismissed along with aide-de-camp/keeper of all secrets, Evvy Tavasci.

 

The loss of Tavasci, more than Faye, is a huge blow to Jackson's equilibrium, even if he doesn't know it. She's been the backstop for all of his kookiness as well as his legal and personal wrangling.

 

In the past couple of years, she'd moved Jackson's MJJ Productions out of rental offices in Los Angeles and into her own home.

 

When Jackson got into trouble with the Arvizo family, it was Tavasci who kept track of them. Her name came up in court last spring dozens of times.

 

Faye is a different story. She's operated as Jackson's confidante also, and appears with him in the outtakes of Martin Bashir's documentary. Toward the end of the trial last spring, it was rumored that Faye was no longer doing Jackson's makeup because her fee was too high. But she continued to help run the Web site.

 

Unfortunately, that site is now shut down for the second time this year. There isn't even a page left up to explain what happened.

 

The site was the invention of Michael's brother Randy, who had two assistants.

 

"They're all gone," including Randy, says a source.

 

I told you a couple of weeks ago that Jackson was in trouble again financially, that Neverland was for sale and that employees were leaving because of missed paychecks. Now the end really seems to be in sight for this bloated enterprise.

Neither she nor Ms. Tavasci are fired. She is working on a job to job basis and Ms. Tavasci is still working for Michael, that's it.

So we can calm down and some should think about what they have spoken yesterday

Thanks for the info Michael Jackson Lover. Someone from the MJnewsonline forum stated that Karen Faye said MJJSoure is closed for good but I'm guessing that's not true either. A lot of the fans are really upset about it, so I hope it'll be back online.

I cant see michael doing that. I mean many of his fans paid that membership fee which should pay for the site right? If it were true it'd be totally messed up. Seriously hard to believe. if it were true alot of fans might sue to get their money back. The site goes down too much for it to deserve that money. I am unsure if michael pays much attention to things on the web but the people he trusts to do this site are obviously not doing their job.

And I really do hate saying it cause Karen has always stood by us fans and I have great respect for her. How much does it cost to run a site anyway? I know most people didn't get premium membership but there has gotta be more than 100 members. 100 x $50 = $50 000. How is that not enough?

im unsure. For as much downtime as that site has, it cant be that much to pay for it. I could get a good site up for one membership payment there.

I havent seen anything incredible on the site that would make the cost go up real high.

 

MJHQ.com is almost free for me to run so that right there shows you that its not very hard.

 

I dont know if that email was even really from her. I cant imagine her ever saying anything negative about Michael and saying michael doesnt pay his bills is really negative. So i really not believe she even said it.

I can't see her saying those things either. Maybe they've just been having technical problems. It is down a lot though.
