A plucky cat is waiting to go home, but no-one knows where its home is.

 

The cat is resting at an animal shelter in the US state of Washington, after leaping from a truck, scampering through traffic, plunging 70ft into the chilly Columbia River and swimming 600ft to shore.

 

Officials at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society say the cat "ate ravenously" after its ordeal. Now they're trying to work out whose cat it is. The grey, long-haired calico has no collar.

i almost killed my cat at least 500 times. its a male cat and its horny all the time so it goes around spraying and making so much noise. Makes a weird loud moaning noise. if anyone has a male cat, they know the sound. And i have to let him in my room or else he scatches on the carpet under the door trying to get in and he tears the floor all up.

I heard on the news a week or so ago about this cat in the USA who was wondering around and got into a box at a factory and the box got sent to some where around England and the people there found him and luckily he had his address and phone number on his collar. Thats crazy.

LOL it sounds like you have a tough one on your hands Josh. My cat used to chase dogs down the street LOL Honestly! We had to seperate our 2 dogs from Sooty because he can't stand them.

my cat would be fine if we let it out side. we cant because people around here put traps up to catch the loose cats. really messed up i think. cuzz cats should be free! any animal should be in my opinion.

I'm so glad the kitty was okay! I'm a cat person to no end... I would have probably cried if I found out it died.

 

I have three cats, all female, and all spayed. They live indoors, and my kitty, Prissy, sleeps half on and half off of my pillow every night. LOL, one time I started dreaming I was being tortured, and someone started rubbing sandpaper on my face... I woke up and my cat was laying there giving my left eyebrow a bath! I was a little mad, it was 3 something in the morning, but she was too cute for me to scream.
