After tons and tons of times trying to upgrade this forum script to the 2.1 version, i finally decided to keep it on now. Even with the small errors i have,. I'll work those out as i go. Also the skin here will be ugly until i build a skin that works for this new forum script.

Also something very cool that is new in this script is the RICH TEXT EDITOR, where you can see how your post will look while you compose it. To enable that goto "my controls" and on the left men u towards the bottom you will see "board settings" click that link and then at the bottom of the page that loads on the right you'll see the options for "standard editor" and "RICH TEXT EDITOR" select the rich text one and click save or ok..

Sorry that the forum has been offline so much lately. The problems with my ex host (who super sucks) and then trying to upgrade the script has really screwed up things lately. I think it'll be fine for now on.

Also if you weren't here lately you might not know about this:

my last webhost totally screwed up and i didnt have a recent backup of the forum so all the posts and everything that happen on this forum in the last month is gone. So we gotta make all that back up :p

I actually dont plan on keepin this skin. its just better then the default one that comes with ipb 2.1

I am planning on getting the skin we always use but it needs to be for ipb 2.1. so i gotta wait for that one. I might actually find a better skin to use. Just takes time but im unsure if i like this current one or not.

im not too keen on this skin. the new envelope icons confuse the hell out of me. LOL

i'll enable members to choose their skin. so check down on the left hand bottom of the forum and in the drop down menu select the vRocking skin and tell me if you like that one or not.

Both the dark skin (vRocking) and the light skin (explodeflu) look pretty slick. Explodeflu makes the highlighted topics (yellow and green) hard to read but other than that it seems okay. I still prefer the last MJHQ theme though (the bluish one with MJ in a santa hat at the top and so forth).

Is there a list anywhere of what's all changed in this latest version of Invision Power Board?

i like the older skin alot more too. I wish i knew how to create skins for these forums more or i'd fix that one to work with 2.1. The people who made that skin, i was a loyal member of their community for a year now and they wouldn't let me have the new updated skin for some strange reason. I think it was rude and disrepestful and now im banned from that place due to what i did last night :p which i dont care because if they arent going to repsect me or like that i been a loyal member for so long, they can kiss my ass.

I'll try to make a skin that has the same colors though. I found another skin kinda like it but it made everything too big.

I was searching invision's website but i couldn't find a list of new features. I found a list of features but i dont know from it which is new. Actually seemed like a old list to me. But here is something i found on the web which could have less features listed:

i really really really hope that i have the new skin (colors will be the same as the older blue one :p ) done soon! it's almost ready to be used even though it'll have tons of bugs, but those can be fixed easily :p

Yeah.. I logged in here and was like.... what the... :p Then I realized that the skin had just changed. I got a little disoriented, but it's okay. I don' mind vRocking. Pretty cool, actually.
