War In Iraq

Featured Replies

Why do you think of the war in Iraq?

I think that the idea of it was a good one. The idea of liberating a country. But what i dont like is the timing and how Bush did it. he did it with lies and without a plan. The iraqi people might have their "freedom" now but they have to worry about getting killed by eachother and other terrorists all the time. The insurgency problem could have been avoided by a REAL PLAN. They could have shut down the borders and watched for terrorist coming into the country and all of that. I really hate how Bush lied to us to even get us to agree with going to war with them. I believe the recources could have been better spent elsewhere. I feel sorry for all the Soldiers that have been killed and i have family in the amy and my sisters husband is over there right now for his second tour. I do not think that we can just leave though. That would be wrong and make everything that we did so far and all the soldiers that died, even more pointless. I think there needs to be a real plan now to get out of there. But only get out of there when Iraq can take care of itself. I also think Bush should be impeeeeched. LOL anyways its all sad. what do you think of it?

I don't know too much about this subject. I think that Saddam Hussein was a bad person, and it's good that we got him out of there if the things they say he did (like genocide) are true. I don't like the idea of wars in general, and from what I see on the news things aren't too great over there.

I don't know about what Bush has done or not done, so I'm not getting into that.

But I just hope this thing ends up alot better and more organized than it is now. I hope that in the end, Iraq is, somehow, better off than in the beginning. Because then at least we know that we did something right.

i don't think it is as bad over there as the media wants it to be. Since i have family over there, They actually know how it is. The media says that Iraqi's dont want us there. My brother in law who is on his second tour over there in the Army says that the people love the we are there.

Also the media said no one would really want to vote BOTH times in Iraq and more people ended up voting then in the American Elections (percentages)

So the media is very wrong. Let's not forget about how they lie about Michael :-? example.

You have a point. Like I said, I don't know too much about this. I only know what I hear on the news. I should get more informed, I know. I really mean to. (Just haven't gotten around to it yet)

My gawd! stop flirting with me! :-?

So I take it you've forgiven me for not knowing anything about the war?

Good. Now wait until I know of what you speak. Then you'll endure the wrath of one of the most stubborn people you'll ever meet.
