You hate water? Listen to our water predicament...

For seventeen years there has been a gas station on the corner of my street, down by the highway. My grandmother's house is across the street from there, and I'm a few blocks down. In between the Shell station (the previously mentioned gas station) and my house is a about two other houses and a bunch of trees. One of the houses was home to a man named Craven, who died of leukemia this past summer.

If you dont realize where I'm going with this....... ingesting petroleum = (probably) get leukemia

Also this summer, the Shell station sent out letters of notice to my grandmother asking to drill a test well in her yard because they've been leaking petroleum over the amount of regulation. :)

Mema has city water, thank God. But Craven had well water and we have well water And he's just two lots up from our house. So DHEC is getting a sample of our water today, and we're having it tested for petroleum.

Oh, and we don't know how long this thing's been leaking-- so Craven's death may or may not have been in correlation with the leak, but it's still pretty damn coincidental that he was perfectly healthy until he got a freak case of leukemia and died a few months later.

So I'm not too happy with water right now, either. In fact, I'm pretty pissed off at it. And water tastes bad, too.

Water is tasteless and odorless (literally) unless contaminated by another foreign source. I love water (clean and purified by the reversed osmosis purification system) But in MJlovley's case, water is a bad thing. But still water is tasteless so you can't hate it's taste, unless something got in it and made it have a bad taste. But anyway, just wanted to talk about something water related, LOL!

sorry about your grandma

Thanks. She's fine though, they have city water so that's safe. She's just a little agitated right now that they've drilled holes in her yard. :D
