i think it'll be very beautiful.

I used to think it was lame to even release it now since August is a long ways back, but then i think about how incredible this song must be!

 

I think the longer the public has to wait, the more that is on Michael to make this a great song. If its some cheap retarded song, he'll be a big joke (which i doubt that it will be) and if its an amazingly beautiful song, he'll gain all his respect back that he should still have and really does deserve in the music industry.

 

I think that maybe he shouldn't have said that he was going to make this charity single because it does kinda look weird that its been this long o maybe shouldnt have said anything

Look at "We Are The World" and "What More Can I Give" both very beautiful songs. Im unsure how long they took to produce though. I know that he was talking about "What More Can I Give" back in 1999 and it wasnt really released til a few years later.

 

I stopped feeling that he owes this to me. Since i stopped thinkin that way, im fine with him taking as much time as he needs on it. I doubt the public is the same. Thankfully most people now are tired of "mj this and mj that" so they dont even know he is making one and it'll hit them hard when its released

I was gonna get the premium membership thing. My mum's the only one with a credit card so Lucky she said no. She would've been furious when it closed. Mum would have never let me get MJ stuff again LOL.

 

As for the single I reckon he should take his time. I was kinda disapionted when "What more could I give" didn't sell so well. He spent 3 years working on that song. I felt really sorry for him. It's such a beautifil song.

 

Mabye It's better to wait for this charity single. Michael took 6 years to make the Bad Album and that was great!

what more can i give was okay. the way he mixed the other artist on it was lame though. He should have given them more than 2 sec a peice. acouple artist got a an entire word if they were lucky i think celine dion got an entire line!

mikes taking too damn long with this song. no one is going to care anymore. people have forgotton about the hurricaine, and are unlikely to buy a song to support it at this time of year.

Even though I'm like other MJ fans, waiting for this new song of his, I'd rather wait till he has completed it knowing he has done a great job of the song then to just rush a tune for people (including myself) to be disappointed for the tune to be a flop.

But we all know that won't happen, so lets all be patient and let MJ complete the song.

i couldn't find it with the search feature, anyways it was a small maybe 20 second clip of the instrumental for the new charity single. I think its fake though.

 

I believe Steph posted it, i could be wrong. She might of posted it before we had the problems with our last host and everything for that month got deleted, But i think it was before that.

I used to want him to release it now or just not make it at all since it seems there is no point since august is long away now.... I believe he knows what he is doing and it'll be okay.

 

I can almost guarantee that there will be another big disaster soon that he can pin it to. So either way it'll be cool. I doubt it'll be a flop though.

 

rushing it will only make it worse. look at most of the songs out there right now, they were rushed. Michael's songs take for ever to make and they are mostly all incredible

I think because Michael has become more popular since the days of Thriller as well as making more fans since them days, nowadays most fans these days have become more demanding in wanting there favourite stars to create something sooner then rather wait till a track is ready to be released. When it was known that Michael was doing this tune for Katrina most fans wanted it out as soon as possible without thinking about the main man himself, he has a lot on his plate at the moment and yeh it is best to wait until he is ready.

I also think that it could be because he hasn't release anything new/fresh in a while and fans are just excited and wanting it!

I think that the fans should wait. I know the fans want Michael to be as popular as he was in the 80's, but he's older now and he has children and has a lot of things to worry about. He can't just go off and write a perfect song in 2 weeks. We all know Michael is a perfectionist and he wants everything to be 110% perfect.

FINISHING touches are now being put to the final production of Michael Jackson's Hurricane Katrina relief song - which is being released on Bahraini label 2 Seas Records, according to a statement released by his publicist Raymone Bain yesterday.

 

The label belongs to Southern Governor Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is reportedly spearheading the project.

 

Recording artists Keisha Cole, Ciara, Snoop Dogg, Babyface and R Kelly are among singer taking part in the song, I Have This Dream.

 

It was written by Mr Jackson in response to Hurricane Katrina, which happened at the end of last August and was the most destructive and costliest natural disaster in the history of the US.

 

"This project is in response to the widespread devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina," said Shaikh Abdulla in the statement.

 

"It is my hope that the proceeds from this recording will make a tremendous difference to all individuals affected by this tragedy in the US."

 

He also said more than 10 additional artistes participating in the production would be named.

 

Most of the participants recorded their parts in Los Angeles, while Mr Jackson himself recorded in London.

 

No release date for the song has been announced, but a spokesman said it is due out "very soon".
