hey have you ever team up/affiliated with MJ sites.. who do NOT have forums... and kind of attach yourself to those sites... cause this is just mainly a forum page.. .but not really a site... so Im pretty sure their are some sites that are looking for a forum...

Oh there is a main site here. There will be lyrics, pictures and maybe even downloads on the main site that do not require a forum membership.

 

My main intention on resetting up the site was not to rely on the forum as much as i did in the past, and just get back to the roots of when the site didn't have a forum at all. So the main site will be bigger and contain more content. I just haven't had the time to make the pages yet.

 

We did have a toplist system, which i might fix up and get working again where other mj sites including ones with forums could submit their link, and put our banner vote link on their site, and they'd get points for each person on their site that voted for them, and it'd bring them to our site to count the votes. That actually had a cash prize, which I might start doing again. It generated some traffic.

 

Also had another just link page where other sites could submit their link and it'll appear on our site as soon as they placed our link on their link page and verified it which was all automatic. Should do that again

 

I honestly don't want this to just be a forum or anything again. Need to have tons of content on the main site.

there is NOoooooooo way you should ever give out cash prizes to those people... this forum is a treat.. and free to join... so that should be enough... but i do think the point system is cool..

 

i think it would be better if you only allowed people who have made 50 post... to view the multimedia section...

 

i think that MJ downloads and video footage could bring more people....

I tried the same with AreaMJ. It's not them begin idiots, but Wikipedians generally support the External Links to nothing but factual information that is direct and blunt. So, basically, Fan Sites don't fit the bill, as they don't specifically provide the needed information, or directly tie into the entry at all.

I think the best we could do is tell other fans about it our selves or post all over the places where fans can see the promo sig bars!
