From what I see, you only need five more posts to get into the download section. And... the points are not stupid. They're really cool actually. The members who are most active in here and earn lots of points are going to have opportunities in the future to buy actual items with their points. So no... it's not stupid at all.

Well, if you want the downloads, which you seem to...you need to earn points to buy the membership that allows you to get into the download forums. Sorry, but that's how it is...too many spammers here, and it really doesn't take that much to get enought points.

the plus downloads is what you need points for.. but you do NOT need any points ofr the regular download forum. Only 30 posts.. i think

It's different so I'm going to try and earn my points. I guess it keeps others out and us safer. 29 points to go

i think this forum is great with the points system it really does work with the members

Points are great on here, and you dont need points to access the normal download section you only need 25 posts!!

25 post is only to filter out the people who do not even want to be actual member. Members take a long time to upload files.. too long for someone to just come and download and leave.

but points make it more fun. like stats on a game. Grand theft auto counting how many people you killed.. makes it more fun!

I'm finding the points thing annoying, though semi fun. I miss my fav games I used to play as I haven't been here in ages, but the points system is a novel idea and makes the forum different

Annoying cause you know what I used to be like with the games here LMAO, I best still have some highscores when I finally qualify to play them again
