Michael Jackson is still laying low after his legal ordeal.

 

"He is working to get his health better," Jackson's dad, Joe, revealed to Daily News contributor Daphne Barack over lunch at the Four Seasons.

 

Some believe that billionaire pal Ron Burkle has provided the singer with sanctuary (though Burkle's rep says he hasn't). Papa Jackson will say only, "He isn't in Neverland right now."

 

As for speculation that Michael might leave America, Joe says, "He did have difficult moments during the trial and talked that way. But I don't think he is leaving Neverland anytime soon.

 

"Am I worried about his financial problems?" he asks. "Yes, I am! If he didn't trust the wrong people, he wouldn't have been in this situation."

 

[bOO YEH TOLD YOU ]Joe believes his son "will bounce back," but says, "I don't see Michael doing any TV anytime soon. He wants to spend time with his kids."

 

Joe denies talk that he and wife Katherine are plotting a reality show. "Katherine wants to take a vacation, and I am going soon to Germany for my birthday party."

Joe sure does give a lot of interviews to reporters nowadays.

 

People need to give Michael time. He didnt get sick instantly.. so he isnt going to get better instantly.. also mental problems caused by all the stress will not heal that fast. It'll be a while.. Im not saying he is all messed up in the head. But might be a bit depressed as anyone would be who was called a childmolestor day after day.

People just need to leave him to chill, i bet knowing that people are stressing about his health and location is stressing him too, people should just let him disappear gracefully for a while!
