Patti LaBelle to cover mj song

Featured Replies

At 61, the R&B legend Patti LaBelle, the ever-candid performer shows no signs of slowing down. She has a new album in stores: Classic Moments, a covers project. And plans to tour behind it are in the works.

On the record, she "Patti-fies" songs made popular by Aretha Franklin, Deniece Williams, the Jones Girls, the Pretenders, Elton John and others including Michael Jackson's "She's Out of My Life".

That's like the only song anybody ever covers. I guess it's a testament to the uniqueness of MJ's music. Well that song and Mya covered "The Lady in my Life" and changed it to "Man in my Life"....

Read the first post 8-} Patti LaBelle is an amazing vocalist, and she is going to be releasing an album with Michael's "She's Out of My Life" on it.
