LOS ANGELES, CA, United States (UPI) -- Lawyers for Michael Jackson`s ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, say he is $75,000 behind in paying her legal fees for their ongoing custody battle.

 

Jackson and Rowe have been battling in Los Angeles family court for custody of Prince Michael, 8, and Paris, 7, who currently live with their father and his third son by another mother in Bahrain.

 

The court had ordered Jackson to pay Rowe`s legal team, which the New York Daily Post said is common when one parent has a lot more money than the other.

 

Court documents obtained by the Post say Jackson has fallen behind in his payments and Rowe`s attorneys are seeking access to his financial records, the Post said.

 

Neither side could be reached for comment on the report.

 

The next hearing the custody fight is scheduled for March 17.

Ok why should MJ pay for Debbie Rowe's lawyers? They are her lawyers! If she wants the children so badly then she should be able to pay for her own legal team. I don't even know why you need lawyers in a custody battle anyway.

i totally agree she should pay for her own lawyers if she wants the kids then she shouldnt expect Michael to pay its not his problem alright he has the kids but her lawyers are nothing to do with him thats her problem

LOL i think Debbie is some crazed fan. The way she acts and the things she does. She uses those kids as something to stay in touch with Michael.

I think its crazy for someone to give their kids up like that for someone. People say that people give their kids up for adoption all the time, well if that's true, then she should let Michael go and stop trying to have some kinda contact with him.

There have been some many court things filed against Michael from her in the last years and it seems she only does it when Michael is busy and doesn't contact her and stuff.

 

She does this and then she is on the news saying nice sweet things.

So its mean to say this but i think I'm right.

She should just let him and the kids go entirely or, give Michael the money or whatever back and sue for visiting rights. You cant have it both ways.

she acts more like a fan then a friend in my opinion

thats what i think she seems to act like a fan more than a friend i noticed that during the trial last year

it seems like she never really intended to have staying together with him and just used him!!!

I don't know what to think about her. At least she didn't do a Lisa Marie and complained how it was a mistake that she married him. I thinks she's happy she married Michael and was sad about getting a divoce.
