I awlays wanted the Jam Maxi single, but I won't buy this. I can't. It cost too much for stuff that Sony already released like 5 times in the last 10 years.

they only keep re-releasing the same thing over and over because they know fans will buy it and there are tons of fans, but it makes Michael look outdated and desperate and i wish they'd quit doing it and just make something new and fresh.

 

if they wanna use old material and release it then its simple: release more concerts on dvd! people will buy those like crazy and you don't have to produce anything new really.

I loved the Ultimate collection. Maybe more because it came with the concert dvd, but the songs on it were really call good besides a couple like Beautiful Girl.

 

the essentials was crap. All the songs were severely edited and chopped up and they had so many misprints on the cd and album artwork. It was released a year if even that after the Ultimate collection was. I bought it just to have "Can you feel it" on cd, but it really wasn't worth it. Ultimate collection was though. I bought my Ultimate Collection for $25 from Best Buy which was and probably still is the best place to buy it at now for the lowest price. I think they raised ther price for it since though.

 

I'm not really a collector so this visionary set isn't really valuable to me. It looks cool but again, already have all the songs and videos. I might of bought it if the price was around $50, but its way too much for something I just don't really need.

Sony should think of that.

Ultimate Collection is brilliant but it is probably only greatest hits material that Sony released which is great...maybe because it includes some really great unreleased material...Other compilations - Number Ones, Essentail... - are boring. I hope so much Michael will be back with some new music so we could forget that greatest hits thing.

ohh that "we are the world" solo version is probably the best thing on the Ultimate collection besides the dvd. It was worth buying it just for that and its funny cuzz i didn't even know it was on it until a couple weeks later i started listening to the cd's 8->

I'm too poor to be buying the same stuff over and over.
