I would like some change in the multimedia section with subforums like audio only , video only, requests/questions.

We definately need requests/questions subforum... Multimedia Vault looks so chaotic now. It would be better to make all subforum jo proposed.

I also think it would be good to delete all topics with expired links nd to live only topics with working links.

What's going on here !!!! I'm posting stuff in the multimedia Vault .... some files are already download more than 600 !!!!! times So someone is posting my links in other forums !!! If i get my hands on him or her ... I will stop posting stuff ... if it goes on like this!!!

Hmm...That is so strange... it could be someone is posting your links somwhere else...and I think many people just don't say "thanks"...

Jo don't be discouraged from posting ur files. it happens.

what i do is put filename(mjone.com).mp3 or something like that has the file name, so everyone knows where it comes from. or where its meant to be.

 

Please don't put passwords on rar and zip files. those are so annoying. You can do it if you want, but i always hate it LOL bcause i download files and save them to discs, but cant ever open them since i forget the passwords.

 

that hide script helps alittle, but it really only shows you who downloads it.

 

Also for people who really want to post downloads, i have that donation thing set up where you can donate money to the site via paypal and in return you'll get hosting with us for that month and you can upload the files to the server and that way you can use hotlink protection which means the files can ONLY be downloaded from MJONe.com or your own site or any site you specify. I give that reward to donators since they help pay for the sites hosting, they should get some in return u know?

I went ahead and created 2 more subforums. one for the requests and the other for other files... jo requested them and he basically runs those parts LOL.

We should move all the topics from the default multimedia forum into these subforums. I'll make it so that no one can post in the main forum.

Josh i have no problem if someone posts songs in another forum ... but using my upload links is a little bit too much of it ... just upload the song yourself again .... remember i'm paying to keep everything up ... and uploading costs me also money ...

i havent been here for a while so i didnt know u were using a paid service to post the files. I assumed u were using one of the free services like rapidshare since peopel were stealing the links.
