ITV1 TO AIR MICHAEL JACKSON SPECIAL

New program to air in the U.K.

 

U.K. terrestrial television channel ITV1 is to air a

one off hour and half special about Michael Jackson.

 

The One And Only Michael Jackson will air

from 9pm-1030pm next Friday, 29th December.

 

It is unsure whether or not the content will be

positive, negative, factual or riddled with rumours but

it's still a large slot on prime time TV during the much

watched Christmas and New Year period for Michael

fans to watch.

 

According to ITV1, the show will have

an "insight into the musical talents that established

Michael Jackson as the undisputed king of pop in the

1980s." It will feature interviews with his family

members and artists such as Liza Minnelli and Smokey

Robinson will discuss Michael's abilities as a

songwriter.

 

ITV are not new to airing Michael specials, having

featured the 2001 30th Anniversary Madison Square

Garden concerts in their listings as well as the now

infamous Living with Michael Jackson in 2003.

 

The network was scheduled to air a special in

November 2003 but they (wrongly in many fans

opinion) pulled it from the airwaves when allegations

against Michael went public and his Neverland home

was raided. It is not known whether or not this is the

same special.

Thanks for the article, I hope it will be a positive documentary. I just can't stand a new documentary that was made for the sake of just bashing Michael's name.

Is it possible to put big files on youtube? I always thought you can only upload files there that aren't longer than 10 min.

Yeah, you are allowed. I know a watched a clip that lasted for 30 minutes on YouTube. But it would be best if you'd cut the movie to make it 10 minutes each so it won't take that long to load.

Oh, I see.. I always was sure you an not put so big files because when I tried to put long videos on youtube I always got a message that my video is too long.

Anyway, just hope fans that are not from UK will be able to watch this documentary too

Well, I got ITV and I was really pleased with the docu! It was positive! I got it on tape.

Should watch it again so I could tell you guys more about it but what I remember of it. It was Positive and cool to watch a decent docu of Michael for once!

I know, they (viacom and youtube) took one of my fanvids down. Still don't know what they found so copyright infringing about that one and not my OTHER TWO using a lot of the same footage. I wonder what's up with them...
