Oh, my Butterflies

Why do you embarress me so?

You make me blush,and you make me giggle

 

I accuse you

"Stop making me feel this way!"

Oh, my Butterflies

You giggle inside me

And reply "It's not us, that makes you feel this way!"

 

"Then who, who makes me feel this way, if not for you?"

You giggle again, tickeling me inside

"We think you know who!"

 

Then I look at you

Oh, my Butterflies

Will you ever stop making those Butterflies move around?

 

I try my hardest to push those Butterflies down

But you just simply make them rise

And fly around

 

What is it with you?

That makes those Butterflies soar

Whenever you are near

 

You give me Butterflies

They only show up when you are near

I guess I should just except it

 

But my love for you is secret

But I hold it so dear

I protect it, saving it for you

 

Cause I have never loved anyone

The way I love you

 

I've always been chased after

Though my Butterflies had never come out to play

Until they saw you

 

It's hard to love you

When my friends laugh at me

For loving you the way I do

 

Though I hardly notice their cruel games

Of laughter

And spite

Cause my Butterflies come out to play, even at night

 

When I see you smiling

My Butterflies giggle inside me

 

Oh, my Butterflies

Will you ever stop?

 

Or rather

Oh, my Michael

Will you ever stop making me feel the way I do, when ever I see you?

Cause you make my Butterflies come out and play by the light of day

Again it's very beautiful. You may have just started writting but I could easily tell that this is indeed a gift from God. You have such a way with words. Very inncocent and very beautiful, I can seem to describe it but it's wonderful.

I know. I have noticed most of the stuff I am writing is really innocent and kinda shy and 'beautiful' I guess through my writing I am expressing who I am.

I never really got into writing and poetry like this, because all the writings like this that I had read in the past, were dark and depressing. But I love writing this kinda stuff. And mainly because of you, Witchy. Not kidding, I read that poem you wrote "What would I give" and it totally showed how beautiful poetry could be, it inspired me.

 

And my gosh, you don't know how bad I get Butterflies whenever I so much as hear his name!
