[caption id="attachment_2546" align="aligncenter" width="800"] OpenRCT2[/caption] Great news for those of us who love good games! RollerCoaster Tycoon used to be one of the most fun and creative games out there, which is why it's surprising that Atari didn't keep up the production of the game. The last solid stable PC release of the game was way back in 2004! Amazingly, late last year Atari announced that they were working on RollerCoaster Tycoon World, which is the next re

*Update April 5 2015, scroll to bottom of post *Update March 26 2015, scroll to bottom of post I've been going through several pairs of contacts the last month to decide which I want to use on my contact prescription. After testing several different brands, I told my eye doctor that the Air Optix by Ciba Vision were the most comfortable. I have sensitive and dry eyes, and these seem to be okay for many hours. The next step was to find a place to buy the contacts.

Edit: Minecraft server closed down - also the host sucked, stay away from MinecraftServers.net - Shady people original article: mc.hyzteria.com or 104.218.101.37 I know many will say that since I am 32, I am way too old to be playing minecraft, but thats not true at all. For me Minecraft is really meditative. I like to simply load up the game dig some holes, build a shack, farm some plants, ride some horses, etc and think out my real life problems, and it be

A few months ago I switched webhosting providers. My main complaint with my super old host (MDDHOSTING), was the page loading speed, and first byte. The page loading was so slow that it could take 5 seconds sometimes, if not longer for the page to load. Which is one of my pet peeves with websites. When I click a link, I want the page to load. This isn't 1997 and dialup. I knew I had to get out of shared hosting, but the problem is - lets be honest, the only visitors that ever came to

The social network that was number one in both App Stores before Big Tech teamed together to destroy it, its finally back after a little over a month of being offline. Which is great! I've been out of the news and happenings loop for a while, since there was no real site to get updates on, other than Twitter, which I barely use and don't trust due to all their one sided and selective censoring. Seems they have change the UI and layout of the Parler website, mostly not for t

The Perfect Dark mod is out! Perfect Dark is one of my most favorite games of all time. And I don't even like games that much. I used to play this games for hours on the Nintendo 64 with friendsa nd everyone. It really was an awesome. For the past year or so i've been waiting for this mod for half life 2, that totally redoes half life 2 and makes it into Perfect Dark. Everytime that I went to their site the mod was sitll private and in testing. I went there the other day and it

I was looking through my digital picture collection earlier, and I was reminded by something I have noticed before, which is some of the first digital pictures I've taken (way back in like 2000) have some major distortion caused by the camera lens. Back then I was new to digital photography, and i had a cheap digital camera that was bought from our ISP at the time which was EarthLink. Here is a photo of me from may 2001, in which you can see the distortion: Ha, i dunno what i was

Google announced last month that they were killing off the Picasa App for windows, which has been my main photo app and organizer since about 2003 when it was paid software, long before google acquired it. This news was horrible for me, but not surprising, since the program hadn't been updated in a super long time, other than small UI tweaks and buttons to link to Google Services such as the Picasa Web Service, but it was still bad news. The reason I really liked Picasa was

Ever since Google announced it was killing off the Picasa App for Windows, I've been searching for a replacement program. It seems I need to find at least two programs to replace Picasa since Picasa was multiple programs built into one. One was a quick lightweight image viewer that was very similar to a lightbox that you'll see on any modern website, and the other was a photo organizer. I am trying to rid my life of Google services and products. I mean they are everywhere now – harvesting my personal info and whatever other data that they can get from me, and its just getting too creepy. Today I was looking for an alternative to Google Analytics, and found Piwik! For those of you who do not know what Analytics is: It a service ran by google that tracks everything about your websites. Such as user visits, what the users do on your sites, how long they visit

Sony has recently announced some changes to its PlayStation Vue Live TV Streaming service, in which they informed us that they were dropping all Viacom channels, which include Spike, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, BET, VH1, and others. This change pretty much renders the service useless and not now worth of the asking prices for each package, because even with their smallest $30 Access Package, you only get a handful of channels, none of which are really that exciting.

I'm going to be honest. I wasn't a very big fan of Prince. I liked a few of his songs, but meh. In a way I suppose I was destined to be anti Prince since I grew up as a huge Michael Jackson fan, and they were rivals, so it makes sense. but then again, it wasn't a big, or even a real issue in the MJ community. I guess you may be confused as to why I'd be turned off as a child by Prince's weirdness and not Michael's. Michael's weirdness was always childlike to me, while Prince always came across a

Update: October 22nd, 2015 - Can no longer recommend this game - Read at bottom Dang, is it already 7Pm? I've been playing this game since I woke up at 6am, and dang, I'm still going! The game of course, is Prison Architect, which has recently been upgraded from BETA to version 1, and I must say, This damn game is fun as heck. If you haven't heard of this game, it's pretty much an open sandbox game where you build and manage a prison. The game looks simple, but

I wrote an article last year about how I was inlove with Prison Architect, but also about how it wasn't worth playing at the moment due to the performance. Once you got above 400 or so Prisoners, the game would lag so bad where you'd probably get 5fps, which made the game pretty much unplayable. 400 Prisoners might sound like alot, but it's really not. You can reach 400 prisoners within minutes. Each time there is an update patch for the game I like to scan through the patch notes to

Florida's Fox 35's reporter Mike Synan got caught lying on his facebook when reporting about a recent Trump rally at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL. He posted pictures of a barely filled arena with the caption: Only problem is, the pictures were taken before the event, and as a matter of fact, once the rally started, every seat was full, and thousands of more people outside wanting in. Here is an actual picture of the rally while taking place: This is o

As for iPhone 6 Plus cases and bicycle mounts, the options seem very limited. I found many which just consist of a bag, or a weird universal mounts and seem to just grab the phone. The only real two options I had were between the QuadLock iPhone 6 Plus kit from Annex products($84.95), or the iPhone 6 Plus case and mount from StudioProper ($79.95 case plus mount). the StudioProper mount and case look better, BUT, it's a magnetic case, and mount, and they recommended it for c

Dead By Daylight is a online 1vs4 survival horror type game where one person plays as a Killer -- like Jason from the Friday The 13th movies, and the other 4 people play as Survivors who have to escape by turning on Generators to open some main gate. Steam recently had another one of its lackluster Summer Sales, and this game was marked down to $15, normally $20, which isn't much of savings. I've been debating on getting this game for a while, but was very weary of the replay value.

I remember the first Doom game back when I was a kid. I believe we had it on the Sega Genesis. I wasn't too into games back then so I pretty much loaded them up, fiddled around, and quickly turned them off after quickly becoming bored. I remember most games at the time being platform left to right runners, and racing games. Doom really stood out to me even back then with my lack of video game interest due to it being an immersive 3d first person game. Lately I've been looking for a ne

------ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJJwdv1yA_o Miscreated is a game that Steam has been flashing at me for years due to being similar to the other games I sometimes play such as DayZ and H1z1. I remember first being suggested it years ago, and all the reviews said it was crap, which is the case for nearly all of the Early Access/Zombie Survival games out there, so I didn't pay it much mind and certainly didn't buy it. I'm forever looking fo

Squad is probably the most intense FPS shooter I have ever played. It combines many aspects from many of my favorite games, such as the realism, and open world aspect of ARMA, with the battles of Battlefield, and the tactical aspect of Rainbow Six Siege. Even in its current EARLY ACCESS -- Alpha State (i know we're sick of these Early Access titles), with its limited features, this game is a huge amounts of fun that'll keep you busy for hours upon hours. Squad is a massive

I was originally going to write a quick look article about a game I recently picked up called "Subsistence", which I will soon, but I've been side tracked by this amazing game called "The Forest". The Forest isn't a new game, it's another "early access" title that's been out for a while, and one that I had followed the progress on for a while, but have long stop paying attention to it, until recently. Like most Early Access titles anymore, The Forest is an open world sandbo

Rainbow Six Siege is the latest in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series, and I must say, it's a whole hootin heck of a fun time. The first thing I noticed about this game is that it was very similar to an other game I played and wrote about earlier this year, called BurstFire, which I actually liked. You can read that article here. At the time, I didn't know that Burstfire was pretty much trying to clone Rainbow Six Siege. I have to say, they did a pretty good job at it. It

The past few weeks have been such a headache. You my have noticed that I haven't posted anything in a while. This was mostly due to ASO (A Small Orange, My Host), messing up, and having issues. I used to strongly recommend this company, but I am now reconsidering this. A few weeks ago Grunch was down for nearly an entire week, as were nearly every other Cloud VPS customer of ASO. ASO didn't provide much info as to why they were down, only that they were working on bringing the server

ARGGH! Okay, I've finally had it with the spam on Microsoft's Outlook.com service. Spam has periodically been a problem for years where it seemed like the spam filters would randomly break and spam would get through for days at a time, then all of a sudden it'd stop and would be fine for weeks. But not anymore! For the past few months to a year spam getting through has been constant! The most annoying thing is that it's obvious spam, that any common sensed filter should catch, but som

It was only a matter of time before one of these idiots got hit by a car. While I don't condone violence, common sense suggest that its not a very good idea to stand in the middle of the road, especially at night. Also I don't think blocking a road in protest works when its only one person. The protest was to mark the two year Anniversary of Michael Brown's death, who was found to be a thug that pretty much got himself shot while trying to attack a police officer. "Gunshots
