I can see clear now

I can see the horizon

With the sun

Glowing warmly

I can see the way

 

For weeks

I was down

Buried in the dark

My thoughts were crazy

Demonic, terrible

I was lost

 

Now the ice is melting

Inside of me

I sneeze

But I feel so well

I'm cured

 

I would cry

Fear touch

I would cut

Strangle myself

In a hope to disappear

I'd jump by a tiny sound

 

Now I hear music

All around

I see smiles

Birds flying

I see it all

 

I'm like a child

New to the world

Like I'd never seen

A sunrise

A butterfly

A leaf

 

I'm looking forward

To look in my mirror

And see the beautiful girl again

Shining with her beautiful smile

Hear her childish laughter

Light up the room
