facebook killing itself?

Featured Replies

Today facebook rolled out a new feature which i think elts you control what shows on your activity wall. ALOT of people including myself seem to be against it.

Basically it over complicate the activity/news wall. i have no idea really how to control it, and im sure others don't as well.

None of us want to use a system thats over complicated, which is one of the things i hated about google+.

So it makes me wonder if facebook is going to kill itself, byt becoming so bloated, and hard to use? Being simple was what made it awesome in the first place.

I really want the old wall to come back. Show me the latest updates/posts/activities. It's simple.

It'll be weird seeing it died from changing and updating, when not updating and changing is what they said killed myspace...

I personally wish for all the social sites to die, and us all go back to having personal home pages. oh yeah speaking of that, please sign my guestbook :p http://www.joshx.com/guestbook/ :D

I dunno. Don't know what the hell they did, but im finding it impossible just to see all the latest activies/postings/message/updates etc.

why complicate a simple thing such as the activities wall? i wanna see people's updates in the order that they were posted, but im still seeing the same updates i seen hours ago.

i keep marking postings as non important hoping that it'll just show me all of them in order, but nope. Yes what i said was just confusing, but that's because facebook is being confusing, ha.Doesn't make sense at all.

gah not to mention it was killing my connection with accidentally leaving it on the homepage!!!! slowed down youtube so bad and other sites.... I close FB and my sped jumps wayyy up!

please note: never leave FB open on the home page!!!!

So they added more features today , i don't have a list of them, but will get one when i find it and post it.

Mostly seemed like silly crap that once again, bloats facebook, and over complicates simple crap.

Alot of people seemed annoyed, LOL

i just don't seem to be happy with anything thats happening in the tech world, windows 8 :-& and facebook. But to be honest, i never liked facebook, and never wanted to use it, so im just biased i guess. But lately i have been trying to use it, and doing so more, and i got used to the standard activity wall, which made the most sense.

yah lots of tech is being overrun by hipster yuppies that only think about what's cool to THEM. and re-inventing themselves every week becuase it's 'refreshing" to do so... when most people want stability and comfort.

I just don't think the majority of people have enough challenges in thier lives so they have to create thier own hell becuase thier essences are bored. Problem is they drag us down with them. Peh.

im not sure if they are reinvented or just adding more and more unnecessary features. i mean an activity wall is a pretty simple concept, No reason to make it impossible to use, oh well.

im glad cool people like us have our own websites, ha.
