look at me i feel nekkid without a start screen BG.... I can't have clothes becuase my creator did not put the code for me to be able to... so I gotta streak around the city and hold a tile in front of my parts.... :-(

weird that a server would even have that metro shit, but i guess it makes more sense than a desktop version of the os since you could put monitoring shit in each tile, without having to launch anything to check certain shits.

you use windows 2012 for a while and you miss the start menu....

 

you go back to 7 and you start to miss the start screen....

You seem to be using windows server as a regular OS. Why not just use the regular OS?

 

i thought about using windows 8 as my main os, but the only working version is the 90 day trial which you cant upgrade from. So i'm waiting for a decent crack for the RTM version, that'll allow me to to activate it when we're able to, if i chose to still use it. $50 isnt much for a license.

Why not you get toys like Hyper-V, Windows System Resource Manager, lots more toys-n-tools, better storage management... etc...

 

I also got this copy from MS for free. Full retail version.
