TinyGrab is awesome! Social Screenshot Sharing

For a while i've been looking for an alternative to LocalHostr, which is a screenshot and file hoster, which has a nice screenshot, and auto uploader tool.

Soon LocalHostr is going to start auto deleting old images/files that havent been accessed in a while, which I totally dislike, and I think it's very said that the service is going to start doing that. I've been using it since its i think 2008,when they only allowed Neowin members to sign up for its beta.

I guess they're making this change to encourage people to subscribe to plans, who knows. I've signed up on sites like Photobucket in like 2003, and never shared any of my images, and they're still on there. :|

I liked how it made it super easy to take screenshots, auto upload then, and then puts the URL in your clipboard, and all you have to do is paste it. Which is awesome.

I've been looking for an alternative to Localhostr for a few months now ever since I read the bad news on their site, but I wanted something that would have the same functionality, but upload to my OWN server/site instead of someone else's.

Today I randomly came across http://tinygrab.com/. Has mostly the same functionality, but you can also set it to upload screenshots to their site, other sites, or your own site via FTP, and so far its worked flawlessly!

AND IT'S FREE! Has paid plans, but I don't know what they're for, maybe for strage.

The only thing LocalHostr has that is better are sexier screenshots, which keeps the aero and shadow effects on windows. hopefully tinygrab will get that soon.
