Why did you have to copy it?? Now I saw it twice. :-&

I agree 100% LOL, (i was waiting for someone to say that) u can tell she's a real MJ fan and tries to dance like him, but all i can say is some ppl have it, others don't LOL.

Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything either. I waited to see if others thought she was a kinda... odd dancer. :-&

If Michael was up against soembody like James Brown. who would win?

I won't know because they are both true awsome dancers!!!

Have any of you seen the dance move MJ does that is kinda like that James Brown foot thing. But this one he has one foot in front of the other on the ball or heel of either foot and then wiggles them really fast??

That moves easy to learn but difficult to execute. First you must wiggle (or whatever you want to call it) both feet and then quickly shift your back foot forwards and then again wiggle both feet but have the one in front off the ground slightly off the ground so you can move it formard and then shift yur back foot forward again. Practice it bit by bit and eventually you should be able to do it without having to stop.

I dont really find any of his moves difficult except the one i descriped above.

that tap dance one still kinda gets me confused. bu ti dont' just stand there and try to do a move. i'll just watch it and if im dancing one day and i do it, then that's how it happens. i can't do a step if i try. it just has to come. but i still can't do that one as well as i'd like to.

as far as other moves, popping and locking is still hard. i mean, i can do it a little bit, but not NEARLY as good as MJ. he really looks amazing doing it. just kinda look ok LOL

Jabba,

How about the one where the feet are side by side and wiggling? He does this one while moving backward a bit and either foot shoots out to the side just a bit too. Then he usually ends that with some kinda stance to just stick an ending. It looks really cool. This one I saw during "The Love You Save". I don't remember which concert. One of the HIStory. I think he did it in most of the concerts from that tour. Unfortunately I only have the full concert and not just that section to show you what I'm talking about.

I didnt want to post this at first coz it wasnt perfect but i dont give a crap now. I didnt actually record this with any music but i decided that it would fit alright but as you can see alot of it is out of time but oh well. In the way i do that back stepping move i need to kick my left foot out more and michael seems to do it more like steps but im not that fast yet :D and the moonwalk is krap!

That's so badass, dude! :D How do you do it. I need to get it in slow motion. It's like wiggle and sliding at the same time, or so it looks. This is the move I'm working on right now. I will get it if I can understand it.

I can't get it in slow-mo. Can you tell me what part of each foot is on the ground when moving backward and then the forward one. I always stop myself from moving. Is there sliding or just wiggling that moves you? :D I want to get it...

Its a step and then flick the heel out and while you flick step back with the other foot and so on.

Hmm, so difficult, Jabba. How did you learn these moves? :D I'm usually pretty good with picking up the moves. But watching MJ do this my mind is just a mess. No way to understand.

Im a visual learner, i pick it up quite easy. I also know the choreography to nearly everything and i can spin quite good too.

Same here, all the kids at school always tell me to dance like MJ. Mainly they do it since I'm always the center of attraction.

Well, Jabba.. Besides being a fan of MJ, I'm also a full time martial arts teacher with my own school. I thought I had a pretty good control of my body and I learn very fast and visually as well. But somethings are just so fast and crazy that it's hard to pick up on. I haven't been trying to do real dance moves for too long now. But I think I got a good handle on MJ's style. I tackled each move one by one. Now I'm a bit stuck here! But great news! :D I think I got the forward one and I can already to the James Brown move. Just the backward thing is getting me now. :D

hehe,I can dance all of James Brown's moves also.

LOL watching the tess videos makes me laugh, She gets the concepts, but she can't dance  =))

ya i so beleive too. sometime his steps look difficult but once u get used toi it, u can do it. i hv some collection of his videos where other performers tries to copy his style but fails to do so.

Hey does anyone have any clips of you dancing, I'd like to see some others dance?

I have one here, I recorded this like 2 yrs ago, when i was 16, I think I'm gonna email Tess and apply to be a back up dancer for her, Just to see what see says

one of my clips Here

Note: The spin at the end was actually edited by my friend on yahoo, he liked the way I spin so he edited like MJ does in his videos like SC, and Scream to do a looong spin, I spun like 3 times, but he made it like 9 LMAO!, At the end there is a lil tap bit, but the door prohibited me from doing it longer, all of that was improvised.. im a big fan of the BAD era and just doing watever move came to his mind [-x

Make another one!!!!

it would be cool i everyone posted up videos of them dancing. An online dance contest =))

Yeah, as I said. I might get one up sometime in the fall. Billie Jean performance on stage. And I used a mixing program to make the ending beats a bit longer for more dance time. =))
