I have decided to make a guide for staff members. This will just say what each staff class can do and such. I always forget also, ha so this will even help me out.

 

Classes and what they can do:

 

Forum Patrol

Powers: Can set topics invisible or visible. If they see something that they are unsure if its against the rules or not, they can set it invisible and tell a moderator and the moderator can decide.

 

Moderator

Powers: Can edit others posts/polls | Can edit others topic titles | Can delete others posts | Can delete others topics/polls | Can open locked topics | Can close open topics | Can move topics | Can pin topics | Can unpin topics | Can split / merge topics | Can mass move topics | Can mass prune topics | Can set topics as visible and invisible | Can set posts as visible and invisible | Lone Agents only have these powers in the forums that they are set to moderate.

 

 

Global Moderator

Powers: Can edit others posts/polls | Can edit others topic titles | Can delete others posts | Can delete others topics/polls | Can open locked topics | Can close open topics | Can move topics | Can pin topics | Can unpin topics | Can split / merge topics | Can mass move topics | Can mass prune topics | Can set topics as visible and invisible | Can set posts as visible and invisible | Can warn other users | Can view users IP address Double Agents have these powers on the entire forum.

 

Admin

Powers: Basically God of the forum - Can do anything

 

Promotion:

You'll be promoted to a higher class If i feel that you have done a good job and also if i feel you are very loyal to MJKOE and its growth. Since you'll have more powers, you'll have the likelihood of MJKOE in your hands and therefor must be really trusted.

Demoted (i think that's the word...):

1) You'll be removed of your staff duties if you are hardly ever on the forum, or create your own MJ forum that is counter productive in the growth of MJKOE (you'd be advertising your own forum more than you would MJKOE, and if you are staff member of MJKOE and want MJKOE to grow and be the best, Why would you even want to create your own MJ forum?)

2) If you abuse your powers. We want people to feel at home here and like it. If you abuse your powers and go on some weird power trip/ become a control freak, People will not like coming here. There is nothing i hate more than this. i want people to love MJKOE and feel nice here. At other forums such as SITE IS BLACKLISTED, i get in trouble for stupid things such as my signature being too big (we do have a rule about width, but that's it) and they edit/delete my posts and warn me for having an opinion that doesn't agree with theirs. it really makes me not want to go there anymore. That is not allowed here!
