Take Me Apart

Featured Replies

For, you, God:

Take Me Apart

Take me apart please

Get me down on my knees

I am so tied up inside

It's a big mess I cannot hide

Tired of denying myself to you

Ready for my faith to shine through

Take me apart, make me well, better and new

This time is hard for me

Hard to keep in touch with you

But I can't just forget about what you have done for me

So take me apart please

May your words be true

Your promises stand too

Take this weight off my shoulders

Take me apart, please

Mess me up

Make me cry

Cause I would love to cry in your arms, all night

Take me apart

I am asking you

Refresh my heart and make me new

Well He sure did that for me! Awesome poem Kiki! Loved every word.

Awesomness! Thanks sweetie! Glad you liked! :d/

Aww! that casts a cute image in my mind. I can hear this as a song...might be the rhythm of the words and the way it rhymes, or maybe I've just been listening to too much Evanescence (this reminds me of their song, October--should be able to find it on Youtube if you're interested)

Very good!
