I was looking through the book thingy that came with the ULTIMATE COLLECTION and it says that I Just Can't Stop Lovin You was recorded in 1982? Is that serious?? it was made that early???? the bad album wasn't even released until 1988 right? so that shocked me to read that. Maybe its an error? I read something when the box set got released about tons of errors it had in the text.

It says it on the Essential Michael Jackson too! Michael said that the bad album took so long because he was collecting songs for it. Remember APOM was recorded in 1985 for Captian EO. Maybe IJCSLY was an unrealeased track from the Thriller Album.

Wow - could well be then! I'll have a read through my 'Visual Documentary' and see if it says anything. It seems to list what MJ was doing like every single day since he was born LOL!

I just can't imagine that song being that old.

 

I wonder how different things would be if he would have used it on thriller or something since he was recording it around the same time. Thriller was released in 82/83 right? hah I'm unsure what has happen back then since i wasn't even alive til 84

It seems thats from when they recorded IJCSLY, but that is michael in the late 80's, not early.

 

I think its a total mistake in the booklet.
