Do any of you get ridiculed for being a Michael Jackson fan?
It never bothers me buying MJ's stuff, never did. Maybe because cashiers take a look at me and expect me to be buying The Beatles or Coldplay, good bands though they are, there's hardly a difference when you think of it compared to buying anything from MJ. If anyone has anything to say I'm not shy about putting them in their place. It's a rare occasion I have to do that though Michael Jackson is as important to the whole music industry as The Beatles...revolutionaries.

Just hand them a copy of 'Thriller' and they soon change their tune. I sometimes see people I was at School with in clubs, whenever MJ is played like Billie Jean or Don't Stop Til You Get Enough usually, they are all up dancing, and they were the people slagging him, talk about contradictions. The thing is you cant really put a tag of musical genre on Michael. He comes under pop, soul, rock, r&b, funk, dance.....plus others I'm sure. You'll also tend to find most homes in the world own at least one MJ record. The non-believers will jump on the bandwagon now you'll find.

New material?
If he worked with Quincy again you could pretty much bet that the next album would be mindblowing. Back to basics is the way. Old Skool.

People do not need to be ashamed anymore?
My local HMV had barely any MJ CD's in stock today when I looked, no Off The Wall,Thriller,Dangerous or Bad, lass behind the counter said they are expecting to shift a major amount in the coming weeks. That was always going to happen though.

New material?
I'm wondering if Michael could use that sample from the court where yer woman was reading out the not guilty verdict, would make a cool intro to a song. Would rub wee Sneddons face in it big time.

So, what did you do?
Just bought HIStory again, seeing as someone borrowed it, ahem, 3 years ago!

So, what did you do?
Like I said further down, got the floor covered in fingernails, and then very drunk. Rest is a blur but I'm sure it was all good.

Hungover!!!
My heart was in my mouth watching the entourage heading to court, didn't think I'd feel so charged, maybe thats why it only took an hour and a half to drink 6 cans of beer....then so on until the wee hours, not wise but worth it. I heard on Fox news that Harvey Goldsmith, the Live8 promoter is considering Michael for the event, he has supposedly said he'd love to do it. We can but see. Looking forward to a World Tour, better come to Scotland this time, seen him in Glasgow in 1992 but had to travel to London in 1997 to see him.

Hungover!!!
Well done Michael. Total legend. Had a party here in Glasgow watching it all live on BBC news 24, hungover. He'll shake this off and get back to where he belongs, at the top. The music scene needs a kick up the behind and MJ is the one to do it.

tour
I seen MJ at Glasgow Green in 1992, I was eleven years old, my first concert. Got crushed, lost a shoe, split up from my cousins in a crowd of 65,000 people going totally nuts, plus it was really hot and sunny, strange for Scotland, but I didnt care. I remember the sound made my ribs vibrate, the bass was soooo deep. Some random guy put me on his shoulders because I was getting crushed and I remember looking behind me and it was just a sea of people, never forget that. Then took a train ride to London to see MJ at Wembley in 1997 for the History tour, wasn't as good as the Dangerous Tour, but it was Jackson, so cant really complain. Amazed at the amount of girls fainting outside in the queue, amused us anyway. The only thing I'd say is that there was not enough material from Bad and Off The Wall performed. Michael Jackson live, a total class act!
