Well I do have a tendancy to go AWOL now and again. Few years back I went to Dublin for 2 days and came back a week later. You'll need 999 on autodial on yer phone then! Glasgow aint that far from the midlands, 3 hours on a train. Its only 4 hours 39 mins to London on Virgin express! I've been out in Wolverhampton and Birmingham, also Leicester a few times, good nights down there. I'd go to an opening of an envelope if there was a bevy going.

Drink is good! I love red wine on a Sunday, not chiraz though, too strong a taste. Alcohol only makes me more mellow than I already am, if thats possible, never started any trouble, although been on the receiving end of it a few times. Usually pints of Stella Artois makes guys fight I've found, firewater. I couldnt go out with someone who doesnt drink, where's the fun in that? Don't mix the grain and the grape, mighty hangover material.

Never done me any harm. There are limits, kids get away with too much these days. They should respect the big folk more. If a kid is running around screaming in a shop or bus or anything and the parents do hee-haw, thats what really really annoys me.

Do you remember the yellow binoculars they were selling?, I still have them too. Programmes were a bit big, like A3 size, didnt fit in the back pocket. Some bird next to me used it to fan herself, complaining of the heat, it was 'kin July, amongst 72,000 revellers, what did she expect. She creased it all. I've got Rozalla's EP that they were throwing into the crowd at Glasgow in 1992, could have caused an injury throwing CD's into a crowd. She was the support act by the way.

Just been listening to the 'Who Is It' CD single. The first mix of it is brilliant, better than the original and IHS mix. Should have been included on Essential MJ.

Never been to Germany myself, doesnt take my fancy for some reason like Holland or Austria might. Dont know what kind of gaff Berlin is like either. Tis a strange move for MJ.

I think one of his biggest fanbases at the moment is Germany. Makes sense but he wont get a minutes peace. Switzerland is nice I've heard.

Well there was a classic case of a record company releasing stuff without permission from the band. Read up on The Stone Roses battle with Silvertone/Zomba. It happens quite often, and if it is the case with MJ and Sony, I'm sure Michael would have had them up in court by now......but just a reminder, this does happen.

Aye those Mystery drinks were supposed to be like Lucozade/Red Bull, think it was 90p a can. The Wembley gig was Tuesday 15th July 1997. I'm tellin ye, it's hilarious, the sound quality is kak, but the atmosphere is great. I suppose I could touch it up on Sound Forge to make it sound listenable.

Found some MJ stuff in the attic the other day, 7" singles, 12" singles, videos etc. I forgot I had. Highlights: The Munich '97 gig taped from german channel SAT1!!!! What was that 'Blitz Special' thing like before they showed the concert?, some scary german folk in that, pure comedy. 'Santa Claus Is Comin To Town' - Jackson 5, original 7", Oh how I wish I still had a turntable. HIStory Tour, Wembley, on Sony personal tape recorder, someone recorded this gig in our company, possibly the worst bootleg I've ever heard, although the swearing and screaming makes up for it! Legendary. Mystery, promo peach drink from 1997, possibly solidified by now, nice artwork on the can though. Purchased in Leicester Square, July 1997.
